Human Trafficking: The Role of People of Faith in Modern Day Slavery

PRESENTERS: Two Women of Faith

Dr. Ellyn Jo Waller, Ed.D., is passionate about combating human traf cking by educating and lifting the lives of women. Ellyn is active in antihuman traf cking efforts both domestically and internationally. She is a member of the Philadelphia Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition and actively supports rescue and restoration efforts in Cape Town, South Africa and Padova, Italy.

Habibah Sulayman Smith has vast experience working with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Her experience with youth drew her to a strong commitment to address issues related to human traf cking. She has addressed this issue with her church family and the surrounding communities of Upper Darby via the Human Trafficking Symposiums. She is currently the chair of the Delaware County Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition.
