AEHT welcomes your support to continue our mission to end human trafficking. With a tax-exempt gift of $25,000 or more, you can help advance our vision of a world without trafficking, where dignity and human rights are respected, and survivors have all they need to thrive. This Major Gifts program is named after St. Josephine Bakhita, a young Sudanese girl who was sold to slavery at a young age and later gained her freedom with the help of the Canossian Sisters in Italy. She is known as the patron saint of victims of modern slavery and human trafficking.

What is the impact of my gift?

When you choose to make a major gift to AEHT, you are ensuring more people have access to important information to identify and prevent human trafficking; more survivors receive the support and services needed to thrive; and stronger laws are in place to prevent human trafficking, hold those responsible accountable, and protect survivors. You also show your public support for the work to end human trafficking by becoming a perpetual member with a public listing as a “Friend of St. Bakhita.”

What will I receive for making a major gift?

With a gift of $25,000 or more, you will become a perpetual member and be listed publicly as a “Friend of St. Bakhita.” As a perpetual member, your gift will continue to make an impact for years to come and you will receive all the member benefits in perpetuity. One of the great privileges of running a business is being able to give generously to community organizations and charitable causes that matter to you. By supporting AEHT with a donation of $25,000 or more, your business is spreading the word about your values and intentions.
