Christine Commerce

Christine Commerce is an anti-human trafficking professional with more than 18 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, specializing in volunteer management, education and outreach, program expansion, event planning, marketing, and public relations. She currently serves with the Alliance to End Human Trafficking, where she advances education, advocacy, and survivor support initiatives to strengthen responses to human trafficking across communities and faith-based organizations.

Prior to joining the Alliance, Christine served as Coordinator of the Diocese of Orlando Human Trafficking Task Force, which received the Polaris Star Award in recognition of its collaborative approach and community education efforts. She also served as Executive Director of Keep Hillsborough County Beautiful, leading the organization to earn the No. 1 Affiliate Award for two consecutive years within the Keep America Beautiful network.

Christine has delivered presentations and trainings on human trafficking prevention, identification, and response at both local and national levels for a wide range of audiences, including parents, educators, healthcare professionals, volunteers, students, and community organizations. She has trained school principals and counselors throughout the Diocese of Orlando on the impact of trafficking on children and youth and strategies for prevention and intervention.

A sought-after speaker and educator, Christine facilitated Speaker’s Trainings, spoke at Alliance’s National Human Trafficking Conference, Child and Youth Protection Catholic Leadership Conference, International Social Justice Human Trafficking Conference and served as keynote speaker on labor trafficking at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke’s Labor Trafficking Conference.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida and participated in training courses through the Public Relations and Non-Profit Management Certificate Program at the University of South Florida. She has participated in extensive professional development and specialized training in human trafficking and has dedicated the past nine years to advancing anti-trafficking education, advocacy, and survivor-centered responses.
