Next Gen: Young adults working to end human trafficking

The Alliance to End Human Trafficking’s Next Gen program brings together young adults committed to addressing human trafficking through practical, community-based work. Participants collaborate on group-designed projects that advance education, advocacy, awareness, fundraising, or communications efforts.

This is a one-year volunteer commitment for individuals seeking to apply their skills in a focused, mission-driven setting while gaining experience in anti-trafficking work.


Program Overview

Next Gen participants:

  • Commit to a one-year, non-paid volunteer role
  • Work in teams to design and implement a project aligned with AEHT priorities
  • Focus on areas such as education, advocacy, awareness, fundraising, community engagement, or communications (including social media)
  • Meet monthly, with additional meetings as needed to support project progress

Recruitment is currently open for the 2026–2027 cohort.

Who Should Apply

Next Gen is open to:

Adults ages 18–35 who are interested in contributing to anti-trafficking efforts through collaborative, skills-based work.

No prior experience in the field is required, but applicants should demonstrate commitment, reliability, and interest in the issue.
