Breaking the Cycle: Understanding Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence
Human trafficking and domestic violence are deeply interconnected forms of exploitation that can leave individuals and families vulnerable to control, coercion, and abuse. The Alliance To End Human Trafficking will host a webinar on Oct. 15 at 2 p.m. EST on the intersection of trafficking and domestic violence, including shared risk factors, patterns of power and control, barriers to seeking help, and opportunities for prevention and intervention. We will explore how churches, ministries, service providers, and communities can recognize signs of exploitation, respond with compassion, support survivors, and help create environments where every person is treated with dignity and protected from violence and exploitation.
