Marilyn Zigmund Luke

MARILYN ZIGMUND LUKE is Director of Advocacy for Alliance to End Human
Trafficking, where she leads and coordinates the organization’s public policy and
legislative advocacy activities and campaigns. As the Advocacy Director, she serves as a national leader who exemplifies the Alliance’s mission, vision, and values.
Marilyn has worked with all levels of government – federal, state, and local – with over 25 years of professional experience with both public and private sector organizations.

She earned her law degree from Capital University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from King’s College. She is a licensed attorney in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Marilyn completed the Fifth Leadership Program for Talith Kum, an international
initiative of Sisters-led networks against human trafficking and exploitation.
Marilyn is committed to human trafficking prevention. Her interests include online safety for children, co-leading the Alliance’s Next Gen program, public speaking and
education, and effective writing. She feels it is her ministry to work with Catholic Sisters and others to carry forth their example in everyday interactions.

She resides in Maryland with her husband, Bob, her son, Aiden, and their two dogs,
Patches and Goldie.
